Judy Barnes was born to Bud Barnes and Hope (later Hope Deister) of Decatur Macon County Illinois. Eldest of three sisters: Judy, Janice (b. ~1949, Brant's mother), and Jill (b. 26 December 1950). Judy lived in St. Louis Missouri per Brant's recollection. Previously married Dick Farmer; they had two sons: Brian Farmer and Steve Farmer.
