Through the paternal side carries 14 generations back to Edward Ewing (b. 1475 Norfolk England) via Stirlingshire Scotland, with Anglo-Irish Plantation nobility (Sir William Ewing II Baron) and a documented O'Neill maternal-side connection at Omagh County Tyrone (Sliocht Airt sept).
