Younger sister of Orval Edward Lorenz, born June 13, 1931, second child of Edward Frederick Lorenz and Edith Grace Johnston Lorenz. Married James Charles 'Jim' Tidwell on April 24, 1956. Two children: David Edward Tidwell (b. March 15, 1955 — born before the 1956 marriage) and Nancy Susan Tidwell (b. February 3, 1959). Lost her son David in 1974 when he was electrocuted at work at age 19. Known to her nieces and nephews as Aunt Dot. Died 2002.
