Born 1927-07-18 in Plainfield, Vermont, son of Wilfred 'Pete' Loso of Plattsburgh NY and Helen Mary (Buxton) Loso of Jericho VT. Graduated Spaulding High School in Barre in 1945, where he played baseball and football. Started as an auto body repair expert at Central Motors during World War II, then opened his own Loso's Body Shop in East Montpelier. In 1960 he started a used car business, Blake & Loso Inc., with partner Dick Blake. Married Hope A. Arnholm at First Presbyterian Church of Barre on 1950-09-09, her twenty-fifth birthday; the marriage lasted 61 years and 6 months until his death. An avid golfer and hunter; the first left-handed champion at the Barre Country Club in 1965, repeating in 1970 and 1977. Active at First Presbyterian Church of Barre, Mount Sinai Shriners No. 3, Masonic Granite Lodge 35 of Barre, and the Elks Lodge 1535; volunteered at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin. Died 2012-03-17, age 84. Funeral service at First Presbyterian Church of Barre on 2012-03-22. Buried at Hope Cemetery, Barre, Hillcrest Lot 43, in the shared Arnholm family plot.
