Stith Bolling

Born 28 March 1686 in Charles City County, Virginia. Father: Colonel Robert Bolling, the 1660 immigrant from England who founded the Virginia Bolling family. Mother: Anne Stith, Robert's second wife (Robert's first wife Jane Rolfe was the granddaughter of Pocahontas and is the matriarch of the 'Red Bolling' line; Stith descends from Anne Stith and is in the 'White Bolling' line). Married Elizabeth Ann Rogers in 1716 in Prince George County. Seven children, including Alexander Bolling (1721, our line) and Stith Bolling Jr. (1721). Died 15 August 1727 in his hometown of Prince George County, age 41.
